Luis is an Attorney-at-Law, specializing in contract law, commercial litigation and national and international arbitration. He has primarily worked in transactions and disputes under the law of Spain, Switzerland and England and Wales. The main sectors of practice he focusses on are Engineering & Infrastructure, Foreign Trade, and Finance & Banking.

Luis has provided advice in the field of commercial contracting related to corporate transactions, real estate, sale of goods and engineering projects, as well as managing and negotiating disputes in energy projects (photovoltaic, wind and biomass) located in Central Africa, the UK and Portugal.

He has also participated in several commercial and sports arbitration proceedings as both counsel and administrative secretary of the arbitral tribunal (Madrid Court of Arbitration, Spanish Court of Arbitration, TAS/CAS, European Association of Arbitration and Ad Hoc arbitrations).

In the academic field, Luis holds a Law Degree and a Business Administration Degree from the Pablo de Olavide University, a Master in International Business Law, Contracting and International Relations from the Instituto Superior de Derecho y Economia (ranked #1 of his class – taught in English). He is also a PhD Candidate in the field of international arbitration from the Università di Bologna (Italy) and for the Universidad de Sevilla (Spain).
